Day Two- Wisconsin to Minnesota

Day two was so much easier than day one! No Chicago- and only about a five hour drive. I can’t complain about that at all. Our first great moment of the day- we had DUNKIN DONUTS!!!  Thank you Wisconsin Dells 🙂 we also stopped at a little gas station and picked up snacks. I love popcorn…but this snack- it was amazing. I have a new favorite, except I think you can only get it in Wisconsin! Oh Bucky Badger White Cheddar Cheesecorn- you need to be in Alaska!

We got settled at the hotel and had some time to relax before meeting with Missy and her kiddos for supper. What better way to spend time then on the bank of the Mississippi River?! Tim even let the kids stick their toes in- I am glad I heard about it AFTER they had already done it.

I love the panoramic shot on the camera! We had a lot of fun in the little pull off, the dogs chased a tennis ball, the kids ran for a while, they explored, pretended to have a battle with their Clones and Jedi- you know, normal kid stuff.

They also discovered this cool water fountain- it didn’t work, but they had a blast trying to make it.

Even Tim gave it a try- well he was able to work the handle, but still, no water!

We then had dinner with some of our favorite Minnesota people, it was the first time the kids had been able to get together, Caleb and Addie are only 2 weeks apart- Faith and Addie…yeah peas in a pod! Gabe is the littlest but he still had a blast with the three older kids, hiding under the table after dinner all 4 of them were busy plotting something…hopefully nothing like me, Amy and Missy!!

We had a great dinner…and Missy, we will be waiting for you, Troy and the kids to visit in Alaska!!!!
